As a Care Coordinator you will play an instrumental role in providing homecare for people within your local community. In doing so you will be changing peoples lives by enabling them to feel valued and supported. You will be a key component in providing quality of care to our service users, by effectively managing a dedicated staff team. Matching staff to service users based on things they have in common
Scheduling weekly and monthly care rotas to cover service users calls
Working alongside the Out of Hours team to ensure a consistent quality of care at all times
Accepting, allocating and processing referrals for new work
Proactively support the team to grow the companies hours
Advocate on behalf of service users to ensure their needs are being met and listened to
Talking to the customer on a regular basis about their care
Identify recruitment, current and future needs
Support staff through supervision / team meetings / daily calls to ensure they are preforming at their best
What experience and qualifications will you need?
You will have a good understanding of scheduling / rostering as well as experience in the care sector and what would make a good care round
You will ideally possess a minimumDiploma/NVQLevel 3
You will have a full driving license
You will also have excellent administration and organisational skills, and you will always strive to always achieve the highest standard
You will be a supportive and empathetic co-ordinator who is responsive to staff needs
