GSL Education are seeking a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team at a supportive school in Hull. This school is committed to providing an inclusive environment where all students, especially those with special educational needs (SEN), can thrive.

Key Responsibilities as a SEN Teaching Assistant:

Support students with special educational needs in their learning.
Assist teachers in delivering tailored lesson plans and activities.
Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
Provide one-on-one support to students, helping them with their specific needs.
Monitor and report on student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.

As the ideal SEN Teaching Assistant, you should have:

Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting students.
Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to different student needs.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered with the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
