- Henderson Brown is seeking an Engineering Supervisor for a client in the Food Production sector during an exciting growth phase.
- The role includes overseeing operations within the Engineering department, managing maintenance activities, and providing training for a small engineering team.
- Candidates should have a recognized Engineering qualification and previous experience in food manufacturing or FMCG, with a focus on either Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
- Knowledge of the Shire/Piranha CMMS system is advantageous, and the position primarily follows a Monday to Friday day shift schedule with occasional call-outs.
- The salary for this position is competitive, and applicants should have prior experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee all operations within the Engineering department, including machinery and utilities management.
* Lead fault diagnosis, corrective actions, Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), and repair activities.
* Manage and support the maintenance of site-wide utilities.
* Participate in upcoming projects, including machinery installations, spare parts and tool ordering, and the maintenance of the workshop and storage areas.
* Provide training and development for a small, growing engineering team, and manage their shift allocation.
Requirements:
* Be either an Electrical or Mechanical Biased Engineer
* Have a recognised Engineering qualification i.e. Level 3, NVQ, BTEC etc
* Previous food manufacturing or FMCG experience
* Exposure to site services/utilities work in previous roles in the past
* Knowledge of Shire/Piranha CMMS system exposure is a plus
