Job Title: Vehicle Paint Technician

Location: Hull

 

We are looking for a Vehicle Paint Technician to work out of a well established body & paint facilities in Hull.

We will pay up to £18.00 per hour depending on expertise & experience.

It would be on a shift basis of four days on four days off. 10 hours per day with 1 hour lunch. We also offer a bonus based around department budget of up to £500.

 

Main Duties Include:
• Preparing vehicles to be painted after body repair work has been completed
• Matching and mixing paint to ensure a perfect match
• Applying primer and finishing coats according to manufacturer's specifications, and ensuring the selection of correct colours
• Inspecting vehicles for quality control following the completion of paintwork
• Maintaining the paint mixing area and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality
• Following all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment

 

Skills:
• Demonstrable experience as a Paint Technician with a solid track record of high-quality work
• In-depth knowledge of painting techniques and colour matching
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
• To have an ATA or NVQ Paint Technician qualification or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
