GSL Education is seeking enthusiastic and reliable secondary-trained Teachers to work in schools across Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire. Whether you're an experienced teacher or an early career teacher eager to start your teaching journey, we'd love to hear from you!

As a Supply Teacher with GSL Education, you will:

  • Deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum, across various subject areas.
  • Provide cover for planned and unplanned teacher absences, ensuring continuity in learning.
  • Adapt to the individual needs of schools and students, maintaining a positive classroom environment.
  • Support students' learning and development while maintaining high behavioural standards.

To be considered to work with GSL Education, you must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS OR have a minimum of 6 months teaching.
  • Have strong subject knowledge in your specialist area, across Key Stage 3 and GCSE. A-Level teaching capabilities are ideal, but not essential.
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Be adaptable, reliable, and enthusiastic about working with young people.
  • Have or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or be prepared to apply for one). DBS sponsorship is available for this position.
