EXPERIENCED FABRICATOR/WELDER

12 WEEK TEMP TO PERM - ON-SITE WORK WITH OCCASIONAL TRAVEL

16 to 17 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Overtime paid at time and a half (Optional, not an expectation)

We are seeking, on behalf of our esteemed client, an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join their skilled team. The successful candidate will be responsible for stainless steel fabrication in the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in welding and fabrication, preferably with a background in stainless steel, and a good understanding of safety procedures.

• Fabricate and weld stainless steel components to specification
• Use a variety of tools and welding techniques (MIG, TIG) to complete work
• Perform quality control checks to ensure all work meets required standards
• Follow detailed engineering drawings and instructions
• Maintain a safe, organised, and clean work area
• Assist with other duties as required, including occasional travel to other sites
• Work in accordance with all health and safety guidelines

• Proven experience as a fabricator/welder
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques (MIG, TIG)
• Experience working with stainless steel and other metals
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control
• A proactive approach with a strong work ethic
• Physically fit, as the role may involve medium to heavy manual labour
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Training/Induction:
Training may be required based on experience. A brief induction covering equipment, facilities, and company expectations will be provided. A Health & Safety book will be issued and must be signed.

Work Schedule:

• On-site work with occasional travel to other sites
• Regular hours with optional overtime available when required

Benefits:

• 16 to 17 per hour, depending on experience
• Overtime paid at time and a half (optional)
• 25 days annual leave + 8 days bank holidays
