15.50 to 16.50 per hour (Depending on Experience)
We are excited to partner with our esteemed client to find an experienced and skilled Fabricator/Welder to join their growing team. Our client is a leader in mild steel and stainless steel fabrication, bespoke manufacturing, and laser cutting, specialising in MIG, TIG & MMA welding processes.
As they expand their services into modular builds and more complex bespoke projects, this is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a dynamic team at the forefront of innovation in the fabrication industry. Alongside your work on chassis welds, you'll play an integral role in shaping the future of custom fabrication projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and weld various materials
- Use a variety of tools and welding techniques (MIG, TIG & MMA) to complete work
- Perform quality control checks to ensure all work meets required standards
- Follow detailed engineering drawings and instructions
- Maintain a safe, organised, and clean work area
- Assist with other duties as required, including occasional travel to other sites
- Work in accordance with all health and safety guidelines
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a fabricator/welder
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques (MIG, TIG & MMA)
- Experience working with stainless steel and other metals
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and quality control
- A proactive approach with a strong work ethic
- Physically fit, as the role may involve medium to heavy manual labour
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
