Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Engineer to join our nightshift team. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and performing maintenance and repair tasks on our equipment and facilities throughout the Mill. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
- Weld and fabricate metal components as needed
- Supervise contractors during maintenance projects
- Develop and maintain maintenance schedules and records
- Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance-related concerns
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred
- Proven experience in maintenance engineering or a related field
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and plumbing
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and logic controllers
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues accurately
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Leadership qualities with the ability to supervise and train others
