Candidates should have a minimum of three years of experience and relevant mechanical qualifications such as City & Guilds NVQ Level 3, ONC, or HND.
Duties include maintenance fitting, fault finding on various systems, and general welding and fabrication tasks.
Experience in general machining, including lathe and milling work, is considered an advantage.
The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.

The role holder will play a safe and active part in maintenance activities, being responsible to rectify all electrical malfunctions / breakdowns safely and effectively to enable the continuity and productivity of the plant, to achieve current safety, output, and quality targets.
Perform to a good standard all aspects of Maintenance Fitting.
Providing solutions for practical problems, the exact day to day duties will vary depending on the task.
Fault finding on pneumatics, hydraulics, machines out of sequence and reduce downtime.
General welding and fabrication' Lathe, turning, milling
Developing personal engineering skills.
Provide maintenance solutions to enhance the improvement of plant efficiencies.
General machining is an advantage, Centre Lathe work, Milling Machine work.

Requirements

The job requires adequate mechanical qualifications and a minimum of three years' experience.
