Your new companyA leading specialist in fully integrated ERP systems and services for niche markets in wholesale, retail distribution, logistics, and service sectors. This fast-paced, PE-backed company is experiencing high growth and operational transformation.Following a group restructure, this role has a broad remit across NA trading companies, working closely with the central finance team. Responsibilities include producing reconciled TB and "flash" management accounts for multiple entities to facilitate group consolidation.Your new roleYou will be jointly responsible for implementing financial systems and processes, leading configuration and data imports. You'll oversee the development and completion of UAT by the wider team and collaborate with key senior stakeholders across finance and IT.As the principal system administrator, you'll ensure the architecture and data quality of the system. You'll also play a key role in the solution architecture team, responsible for all tools used across the company. Identifying and supporting process improvements within the accounting team will be part of your duties, along with ongoing development and training of users to maintain best practices. Additionally, you'll provide 1st line system support for the Live Business unit.What you'll need to succeedEssential:

  • Project support for system implementation
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong communication with various stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in system documentation and financial process optimisation
  • Building and maintaining global professional relationships

Desirable:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification
  • Experience with large data sets
  • Knowledge of Power BI or similar tools
  • Graduate
  • Recurring revenue recognition in software business
  • Experience with international companies
