Hungerford

Permanent - Full-time

Monday - Thursday - 08.00am - 17.00pm & Friday - 07.00am - 15.45pm

Salary is dependent on experience

We are currently recruiting for a Laboratory/QC Technician to join our client based in Hungerford.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Work within a team following established procedures for sample testing using relevant laboratory equipment
  • Preparation of standard solutions and formulations in a wet laboratory environment.
  • General laboratory organisation such as maintaining a laboratory records, labelling and storing samples.
  • Maintaining lab tidiness and organisation.
  • Adhere to, and actively contribute to maintaining a safe working environment within a lab.
  • Operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • General laboratory house-keeping.

Qualifications/ Key skills:

  • Minimum A Level qualified to a Chemistry related discipline
  • Knowledge of basic laboratory equipment.
  • Organisational and time management skills.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • IT competent
  • Excellent level of spoken and written English.

Desirable but not essential:

  • Work experience within a laboratory environment.
  • Sage 200 knowledge.
