We are seeking a skilled Forklift Driver to join our team on a temp to perm basis. This role is based in Hungerford and offers a competitive hourly rate. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts safely and efficiently in a dynamic warehouse environment.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Operate forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient handling of goods and materials.
  • Perform daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and lubricating equipment.
  • Load and unload goods from vehicles such as trucks.
  • Check that loads are secure and perform minor maintenance tasks on forklifts.
  • Stack goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions.
  • Check equipment for damage and report any faults or incidents.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and quality standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Forklift Driver.
  • Valid forklift driving certification.
  • Good understanding of modern warehousing practices and methods.
  • Excellent coordination and organisational skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects.
  • High degree of attention to detail and diligence.
