Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Our client is looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to provide preventative maintenance experience and knowledge, as well as maintain, modify, and install machinery to a planned maintenance programme.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for supporting all engineering breakdowns, diagnosing faults as soon as possible and replacement of parts.
- Provide preventative maintenance expertise, in helping to develop a new & evolving planned maintenance programme.
- Daily routine maintenance activities.
- Rectifying all electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical issues.
- Enhancing, repairing, and maintaining all the plant equipment and plant services within the manufacturing facility as per the preventative maintenance schedule and updating the maintenance log.
- Installation and commission of new machinery and equipment projects.
- Continuous improvement projects during planned downtime and identifying engineering solutions to maximise efficiency of the plant.
- Requesting spares / consumables required to support the engineering activities to be undertaken.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results.
- Ability to work alone and within a small team of engineers.
The Successful candidate will have the following
- Previous experience in a Multi-Skilled Maintenance role
- Plant maintenance experience with exposure to pneumatic, electronic and mechanical systems
- Positive attitude
- Pro-active & self-started
- Good communication skills
- Ideally experienced in a manufacturing environment
- Multi Skilled with good electrical skills
- Fault finding electrical installations and machinery
- Electrical / Mechanical engineering qualifications.
