We are looking to recruit an experienced National Account Manager to join the sales team, who will be responsible for building and maintaining our relationships with major customers, where strong negotiation and influencing skills are a prerequisite.

You will need to have the drive, determination & passion to win in a very competitive market place.

This role will provide the successful applicant the platform to bring their vision for our brands to life in these channels.

JOB PURPOSE

Reporting to the Head of Sales and as a key member of our sales team, this role will be responsible for leading the interface between the business, our customers, and the achievement of company sales, share, revenue and profit goals. This is a demanding role which will require drive, ambition, and enthusiasm, combined with a high level of technical skills such as selling, negotiation, forecasting and commercial awareness. Equally the ability to foster outstanding customer relationships. As a key aspect of this role will be the daily interaction with other functions within the business, applicants will need to demonstrate success in working as part of a cross functional team.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage current customer portfolio.
  • Build & deliver channel plan to achieve company goals.
  • Pricing & terms negotiation.
  • Joint business planning
  • General customer management.
  • Attendance at sales exhibitions.
  • Monthly forecasting.

PERSONAL ATRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE

  • Broad FMCG food sales experience.
  • Commercially astute.
  • Be able to collaborate and influence effectively
  • A positive hands-on approach/can do attitude/team player
