The role requires previous management experience in a care setting, preferably in extra, domiciliary, residential care, or supported housing. An exciting new opportunity is available to become the Registered Manager across 2 Extra Care facilities very local to each other in the Reading area.
You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the schemes and ensuring the highest quality of care is provided to the residents. Both sites have a full time Team Leaders, the services are small services regarding hours of care provided.
This is a rapidly growing care company where there will be clear scope for career progression!

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Manager:
  • Deliver services effectively and efficiently and have clear monitoring procedures and processes in place to ensure standards are continually met
  • Provide management, leadership, and support to all staff
  • Ensure good communication and links with all stakeholders
  • Ensure that staff are trained for their roles and responsibilities
  • Put in place measures to comply with CQC regulations

Registered Manager Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Manager in a care setting essential, preferably within extra/ domiciliary/residential care or supported housing
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good management skills and is willing to take on responsibility
  • A team player whose goal is to leverage good service
  • Knowledge of CQC compliance and regulations
  • Level 5 qualification or working towards
