A well established , manufacturing/engineering company based just outside Cambridge are looking for a full time Accounting Technician / Bookkeeper to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to gain excellent all round experience but has previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
This is ideally a full time role but our client will consider part time for the right candidate with flexibility on how the hours are worked. The role comes with a good benefits package and is 100% office based.
Assignment Details- Bank reconciliations
- Weekly debtors reports
- Monthly reconciliation of company credit card
- Support purchase ledger
- Produce control accounts
- Post monthly accruals,prepayments and adjustments
- Support credit control
- VAT returns
- Cashflow forecasting
- Maintain fixed asset register
- Monthly management accounts
- Budget and variance analysis
- Monthly payroll
Skills Required
- PQ AAT/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
- SAGE 50 or 200 experience
- ERP / Manufacturing experience
- VAT reporting
- Payroll experience
