Our client is currently going through a period of positive realignment and they are in need of some extra support in their small finance team.
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this role will suit a post-qualified accountant who is well-versed producing month end and has a technical accounting bias and duties will include.
- Production of monthly management accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Production of statutory accounts
- Maintenance of fixed asset register
- Collaborating with Finance Business Partners in relation to budgeting and forecasting
- Delivery of monthly P&L
- Working closely with external auditors and providing advice where necessary
- Ad hoc duties
This role will suit an all-round, post-qualified accountant who has a keen eye for detail and understands the technical side of accounting.
This is a fast-paced, dynamic environment as such the ability to work to challenging deadlines is essential. Advanced experience of Excel is a must-have and exposure to ERP systems would also be a distinct advantage.
Working out of modern offices, this role will commence in April with a minimum 6 months duration but there is potential for a permanent role for the right candidate.
Hybrid working is offered as standard and interviews will be taking place within the next few days.
