Broster Buchanan are looking for a Assistant Accountant to join a FMCG business based in Huntingdon.This role has great scope to be working along side a Qualified Management Accountant to learn from and is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong all-round accounting experience who is looking to take the next step in their career.The Role;
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • Assisting with monthly management accounts
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Expense and credit card processing
  • Supporting financial control and internal procedures
  • Managing the purchase ledger and supplier reconciliations
  • Payment processing and bank reconciliations
  • General administrative support to the finance team
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in a similar finance or accounts role
  • Ideally AAT qualified or Actively studying ACCA/CIMA
  • Good working knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively
