Sonic Summary

The position is for an experienced Independent Reviewing Officer (IRO) responsible for chairing statutory Child in Care Reviews and monitoring children's care plans.
Candidates must have eligibility to work in the UK and experience in a similar role.
The role involves visiting children outside of Reviews and traveling to care placements, with 50% of children residing outside the Local Authority.

We are looking for an experienced IRO to carry out hte following duties:

Chairing statutory Child in Care Reviews in person
Ongoing monitoring of progress of childrens care plans / pathway plans
Identifying areas of drift and delay in permanence for children, and escalating as per the Council's Escalation Policy
Visiting children outside of Reviews
Travel to children at their care placements, 50% of whom reside outside of the Local Authority
