Junior Administrator

This is a new opportunity to join a small well-established business who work within a consultancy business.

If you consider yourself approachable, bright and sparky and definitely looking to start your career for the next 20 - 30 years with a company who have the time and resources to train, then this could be for you! Meyer-Scott introduced a candidate to this role a couple of years ago and they have since been promoted hence a new vacancy has opened. So, there is definitely room for progression.

Interesting role where you will be assisting other administrators and surveyors. There will be plenty of training enabling you to learn new skills and progress within the consultancy if you have ambition to get on with this locally based business.

FULL TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED

Duties:

  • You will be shown how to transfer survey photographic data from one portal to another portal so the information is transparent to all.
  • You will be working on spreadsheets so it's important that you are comfortable with Excel.
  • You will be trained to review survey drawings in terms of understanding them so you would be better able to assist colleagues.
  • You will be trained in making up digital files for each project composed of drawings and client contact information. These files mean the team will have accurate records of project, past, present and future.

You will be trained in these straightforward tasks, there are so many areas you could move into such as contracts, surveying, dealing with architects and project management etc.

The Ideal candidate:

  • To be successful in this role you will need to be highly organised, with great attention to detail. Excellent IT skills and a confident communicator.
  • Previous administration experience is preferred, and you should be proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel.
  • This role also requires someone who is used to working with data and has good numeracy skills.

Hours: Mon-Fri 8:00am - 5:00pm
