Role: Design Engineer

Location: Huntingdon

Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

Salary: £32,000 - £38,000

We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join a small team in Huntingdon. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing innovative products using Autodesk Inventor CAD software.

Key responsibilities of a Design Engineer:

Create detailed design drawings and specifications using Autodesk Inventor CAD software.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new product concepts and improve existing designs.
Perform engineering calculations and simulations to ensure design integrity.
Prepare technical documentation and reports.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues.

What we would like from you:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor CAD software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a design engineering role.
Experience with product development and manufacturing processes is a plus.
