We're currently looking for a Laboratory Quality Technician to work in our Central Laboratory on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who has an interest in working in Quality. The role will be providing support to the Quality Manager to maintain the quality systems. Assisting with internal audits, anomalies and complaints. Coordinating document control. Monitoring quality control processes. Updating and maintaining databases. Demonstrate ongoing competency.

What will you be doing?

  • Provide information as required to meet the requirements of the quality system and any other key performance indicators.

  • Assist with the internal auditing programme by supporting the process to ensure actions are documented and completed on time.

  • Coordinate the updating, issue, retrieval and archive of controlled procedures and methods.

  • Monitor the quality control processes for trends and report back to the Quality Team on the findings.

  • Ensure that the databases used by the team are maintained, controlled and archived as required.

  • Ensure that a Continued Professional Development portfolio is set up and maintained to demonstrate ongoing competency to meet regulatory requirements.
