I am currently looking for a Microbiologist to join a growing R&D company in Cambridgeshire.

As an R&D Microbiologist you will join a team of highly skilled Scientists to support the research and development of the company's technology.

Responsibilities

  • Working in a multi-discipline team you will support and manage projects ensuring work is carried out on time.
  • Design and run microbiology experiments using a range of microbiological techniques to test for pathogens and mycology.
  • Carry out work to the required quality standards.
  • Write project reports.

Ideal candidates will have a PhD or Degree/ Masters in Microbiology or Biology (or related subject) and have experience in aseptic microbiology techniques.

Experience in cell culture is highly desirable.

This role is open to degree qualified candidates with some industrial experience or a recent PhD.

This role is initially a 12 month FTC.
