Job Title: German Speaking Accounts Assistant
Location: Cambridgeshire
Salary: Circa £32,000 per annum
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Are you a skilled Accounts Assistant with native-level fluency in German? Do you have a passion for finance and a strong understanding of accounting principles? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our client’s dynamic team in Cambridgeshire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Ledger Management: Process customer invoices, handle customer queries, and allocate receipts efficiently.
- Credit Control: Monitor and manage overdue accounts, ensuring timely collection of payments.
- Cash Flow Management: Maintain and update the Cash Flow Forecast to support financial planning and decision-making.
- Period End Journals: Assist in the preparation and posting of period end journals.
- VAT Returns: Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with regulatory requirements.
What We're Looking For:
- Fluency in German: Native-level fluency in German is essential for this role.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting position.
- VAT Knowledge: A strong understanding of VAT regulations is highly advantageous.
- Qualifications: Accounting qualifications are highly advantageous, but not essential.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
