Full job description Job Title: Chef de Partie - Join Our South Cambridgeshire Pub with Live-In Opportunity Job Description: Are you a talented and dedicated Chef de Partie looking to make your mark in a vibrant and welcoming pub? We are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at a charming pub located in South Cambridgeshire. This role offers the opportunity to operate independently and live on-site, providing an immersive and rewarding work experience. Responsibilities: Prepare and cook high-quality dishes under the guidance of the Head Chef. Assist in the development and execution of the menu, ensuring variety and innovation. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to health and safety standards. Manage and train junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory to ensure efficient kitchen operations. Collaborate with the Head Chef and management team to plan and execute special events and promotions. Ensure consistency in food preparation and presentation, maintaining the pub's reputation for excellent cuisine. Adapt to various culinary tasks, demonstrating versatility and skill in different sections of the kitchen. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar culinary role. Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating leadership and initiative. Knowledge of kitchen operations, including stock management, cost control, and sanitation practices. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Previous experience in a live-in arrangement is preferred but not essential. Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience and performance. GBP21,000.00 per year includes 1 bed flat accommodation.
