We are currently offering the opportunity for a Chemical Operator to join a company based in Cambridgeshire which produce specialised chemicals used in medicines, electronics, and other products.

This role is ideal for an individual with prior hands-on experience in chemical manufacturing within a chemical plant or similar environment.

Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.

The Role

As a Chemical Operator, you will be responsible for:

  • Manufacturing specialised chemicals used in a variety of products including medicines and electronics,
  • Operating of manufacturing equipment and monitoring of production processes,
  • Troubleshooting any production issues,
  • Ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.

Current / Recent Experience Required:

  • At least 1-3 years of relevant experience within chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing (essential).
  • Prior experience handling hazardous chemicals / materials (essential).
  • BSc / MSc / equivalent degree within a chemistry-based discipline (desired).

Profile Required:

  • Existing UK work eligibility (essential).
  • Happy to commute / relocate to Cambridgeshire (essential).
  • An interest working within a chemical plant environment (essential).
