We are currently offering the opportunity for a Chemical Operator to join a company based in Cambridgeshire which produce specialised chemicals used in medicines, electronics, and other products.
This role is ideal for an individual with prior hands-on experience in chemical manufacturing within a chemical plant or similar environment.
Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.
The Role
As a Chemical Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Manufacturing specialised chemicals used in a variety of products including medicines and electronics,
- Operating of manufacturing equipment and monitoring of production processes,
- Troubleshooting any production issues,
- Ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
Current / Recent Experience Required:
- At least 1-3 years of relevant experience within chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing (essential).
- Prior experience handling hazardous chemicals / materials (essential).
- BSc / MSc / equivalent degree within a chemistry-based discipline (desired).
Profile Required:
- Existing UK work eligibility (essential).
- Happy to commute / relocate to Cambridgeshire (essential).
- An interest working within a chemical plant environment (essential).
