A great Sales Manager role with genuine prospects to recruit and manage a sales team and then move to board level working for a small private owned British manufacturer of product handling & conveyor based automation solutions.   BASIC SALARY: up to £65,000   BENEFITS:· Open ended annual bonus but circa £10,000 OTE · Company car or car allowance · Private health · Death in service   LOCATION: Ideally factory based (2 days per week once settled in) and therefore commutable to Norwich (within an hour or two) but covering the whole UK.   COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Norwich, Peterborough, Wisbech, Kings Lynn, Stamford, Cambridge, Huntingdon   JOB DESCRIPTION: Sales Manager - Conveyor Systems, Product Handling Automation   This is a senior sales role reporting to the Directors with a brief to generate new business from existing clients and targeted new accounts.   Very realistic targets and you will need to be able to produce quotes and proposals as part of the sales process.   PERSON SPECIFICATION: Sales Manager - Conveyor Systems, Product Handling Automation   · You MUST have a proven track record in sales of product handling automation solutions or conveyor systems. · You will ideally be a qualified engineer or have a good technical background and will be able to prepare quotes & proposals.   THE COMPANY:  A small but well established privately owned British manufacturer of bespoke automation solutions based around conveyors and product handling machinery selling into the food, personal care & can making markets with a blue chip client base and very high levels of both client retention and repeat business.   Average order value ranges between £200,000 and £600,00. They are now looking to grow their business by recruiting an experienced Sales Manager to generate new business and then build a sales team aiming to double their T/O in the medium term.   PROSPECTS:  This role would suit an ambitious person as success in this role will lead to recruiting and managing a sales team and to a board level role in the medium term.   INTERESTED?
