Civil 3D Technician

Our client's Highways/Infrastructure Team is looking for a skilled and precise Civil 3D Modeller with experience in creating, managing, and optimizing detailed 3D models for highway design. This role is essential for ensuring accuracy and maintaining the integrity of design projects from initial concept to final documentation.
 
Main Responsibilities:
 
·Create detailed 3D models of highway infrastructure using Civil 3D.
·Work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure models meet project specifications and standards.
·Generate high-quality construction documentation from Civil 3D models.
·Manage and maintain Civil 3D project files, keeping them up-to-date and accurate.
·Conduct clash detection and project coordination using Civil 3D and other BIM tools.
·Assist in developing and implementing BIM standards and protocols within the team.
·Build and manage flexible Civil 3D models for various highway components, ensuring they meet project needs.
·Perform quality checks on models and drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements.
·Participate in design review meetings and offer technical support as needed.
·Stay current with the latest advancements in Civil 3D and BIM technology.
 
Skills:
 
·Proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D with a portfolio showcasing relevant project work.
·Experience in highway and infrastructure modelling is preferred.
·Strong understanding of BIM processes and standards.
·Skilled in creating and managing corridors, sub-assemblies, and parts in Civil 3D.
·Familiar with design software like AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and InfraWorks.
·Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
·Strong communication and teamwork skills.
·Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
 
Experience:
 
·At least 3 years of experience as a Civil 3D Modeller in a highways engineering setting.
·Proven experience in the design and modelling of highways, earthworks, and infrastructure related to highway projects.
·Experience working within a multidisciplinary team environment.
