Reed Business Support in Cambridge are excited to work with a specialist surgical reconstructive client who are seeking a Sales Support Specialist to support their daily business functions, providing products and services to their sales team and customers. This role is pivotal in being the primary contact for their sales team, distributors, representatives and customer service team across Europe. The successful candidate will also be responsible for linking business processes and data with the USA and European systems.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Act as the central contact to coordinate product and logistics support for the Sales team and customers.
  • Support field stock management, including reconciliations at month, quarter and year-end.
  • Manage courier and shipping operations.
  • Oversee in-bound order management for assigned regions.
  • Ensure standard coverage of customer service points of contact (phone, email, etc.).
  • Set up new customers, including customer master data, billing and shipping.
  • Review and resolve sales order entry, invoicing and returns functions.
  • Track open usages to ensure the collection of purchase orders.
  • Process orders up until 5 pm UK Time zone.
  • Handle inventory requests for Account Managers and Independent Sales Entities.
  • Assist with order discrepancies impacting revenue recognition.
  • Utilize reporting resources effectively (Sumatra, Klairy, SharePoint, Excel).
  • Execute price and file maintenance processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or associate degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong service focus towards external customers and sales force.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Highly detail-oriented with a collaborative and flexible approach.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency with ERP and other business enterprise management systems.
  • Experience with inventory and lot traceability is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to provide service stability in a changing environment.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Independent decision-making ability to meet customer expectations.
  • Must be able to multitask in high-pressure, changing conditions.
