Hours: 8:30am to 5pm Monday – Thursday, Friday 08:30am – 4:30pm

Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 Per Annum

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Health, Safety & Compliance Officer to join our clients growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about creating and maintaining a safe, compliant, and positive working environment. You’ll play a vital role in shaping the health & safety strategy while ensuring they meet regulatory requirements and best practices.

Job Duties:

  • Champion a culture of health and safety awareness across all departments
  • Monitor performance and ensure ongoing compliance with H&S regulations
  • Carry out regular audits, inspections, and site visits—including working at heights
  • Collect, analyse, and report health and safety data and trends.
  • Prepare and present information in clear reports, spreadsheets, and dashboards.
  • Support the development and implementation of a robust Health & Safety Management System
  • Work closely with directors and senior leadership to define and drive future H&S strategy.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff and ensure consistent compliance across the business.

What we are looking for:

  • A qualification in NEBOSH
  • Maths and English to a minimum of GCSE or equivalent standard with C grades or above
  • Self-motivated and keen to learn
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
