Halcyon Health and Social Care (Cambridgeshire) is is working with a reputable client in the healthcare sector who is looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager for their care home. If you have a passion for leading high-quality care services and possess exceptional management skills, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Overall Management: Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring a high standard of care.
  • Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, supervise, and support a team of care workers to provide exceptional care.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the care home meets all regulatory requirements and standards set by the CQC and other relevant bodies.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the budget and financial performance of the care home, ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Risk Management: Conduct regular risk assessments and manage health and safety protocols.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for residents' families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
  • Service Development: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and range of care services offered.
  • Resident Well-being: Ensure residents' physical, emotional, and social needs are met, promoting a positive living environment.

Qualifications:

  • Education: NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Driving License: Full UK Driving License.
  • Clearance: Enhanced DBS (on update service).

Experience:

  • Previous Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a senior care management role, with experience as a Registered Manager.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a deep understanding of regulatory compliance.
  • Attitude: Empathetic and compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
