Job Title: Engineering IQA (Internal Quality Assurer)Salary: £32,000 - £34,600 per year (depending on experience and qualifications)
Overview:Dovetail and Slate is partnering with a prestigious college to recruit an Engineering IQA. If you have experience in engineering trades and a passion for ensuring quality assurance in education, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and ensure the quality assurance of engineering qualifications.
- Develop and implement internal quality assurance systems and procedures.
- Support and mentor assessors to maintain high standards of practice.
- Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with qualification requirements.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to maintain industry-standard techniques in the curriculum.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to improve the teaching and assessment process.
What We're Looking For:
- Relevant industry qualifications in Engineering.
- Experience as an Internal Quality Assurer or in a quality assurance role within engineering education.
- Strong knowledge of engineering standards and qualification frameworks.
- Ability to support and guide assessors to ensure the highest standards.
- Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check.
- Passion for improving the quality of education and ensuring students reach their full potential.
- Strong experience in the engineering field, including practical and theoretical knowledge.
- Willingness to pursue further professional development and qualifications (training and support provided).
