A food manufacturer that has experienced high growth in recent years is growing their Specifications team! They are on the look out for a keen Specification Technologist who can add real value to an already successful team. The role has a hybrid working arrangement of 2 days in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage specification and artwork creation on retailer and non-retail platforms
  • Ensure artwork meets legal and customer standards.
  • Monitor project timelines, escalating any delays
  • Transfer customer specifications accurately to internal systems
  • Review raw material specifications from suppliers for completeness and accuracy
  • Collaborate with internal teams and customers to validate information
  • Cross-check nutritional data with industry guidelines, escalating any discrepancies


What you will need:

  • Technical experience in food manufacturing
  • Degree or equivalent in Food Science/Technology.
  • In-depth knowledge of recipe creation, food nutrition, and labelling
  • Experience with online retailer specification systems and computer software
  • Ability to manage deadlines
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills
