Job Title: Installations fitter (electrical bias)
Reporting to: Production supervisor / Installation team leader
Type: Permanent
Rate: £14.50 per hour plus overtime at time and half
General Description
The successful candidate will work as part of a dedicated team to carry out high quality installations and repairs in a safe and time efficient manner. Basic Joinery knowledge is preferable and must be able to adapt to a daily workload. With the ability to first and second fix electrical installations, initial verification of 12vdc systems and reactive maintenance of the existing fleet of 230v and 12v cabins. Alongside the preferred knowledge required to complete stud works, board and trim, daily work load will be varied and consist of manufacturing site welfare cabins, containers and towable units. Testing and commissioning of old and new installations is a requirement of this role.
Working alongside other production departments the role of electrical Installations fitter will be key in the progression of the department to meet operational growth in demand.

- To interpret production drawings and working examples, to achieve the installation of all internal and external components within our products, in line with safety, quality and delivery standards,
- To maintain a safe working environment, highlighting any concerns and assisting to better our environment,
- To maintain and use Power tools and machinery to recognised best practice,
- The ability to maintain effectiveness when experiencing major or minor changes in work tasks or the work environment; adjusts effectively to work within new work structures, processes or requirements.

Person Specification
Experience within a multi trade background
Experience within a hire repair/ reactive repair background
Experience within the site welfare sector
Attainment/Qualifications
NVQÂ L2 or L3 in Joinery
NVQ L2 in plumbing
NVQ L3 Electrical installation
