My Client is seeking a Water Metering Technician for an initial 12-week temporary contract with the potential for a permanent position.
The role involves obtaining accurate water meter readings, carrying out meter exchanges, collecting data, and providing excellent customer service.
Candidates should be customer-focused, present a professional image, and have basic IT skills, as the job can be physically demanding with walking distances of 3 to 8 miles daily.
The salary for this position is equivalent to £27,453 per annum, plus a company van and potential for increased earnings based on performance.
This full-time role requires 37 hours a week with flexible hours between 6:30 to 20:00, including some Saturdays, and candidates must be located within 30 minutes of Bedford/Flitwick.

My Client are seeking a Water Metering Technician on a initial 12 week temporary contract with an aim to move into a permanent role if the 12 weeks goes well!

Your day-to-day activities will include: - Obtain accurate readings from water meters - Carry out meter exchanges – (Full training will be provided) - Collect meter data - Lastly and most importantly provide excellent customer service

Skills:- Customer focused individuals - A professional image is very important - we will provide you with a uniform and van - The role can be physically demanding as you will walk in the region of 3 to 8 miles per day. - You will also use a handheld computer to carry out your work, so basic IT skills are required

Other info:Salary is equivalent to £27,453 PA + company van with the potential to achieve more on target earnings

Full time, 37 hours a week - Flexible hours between of 6:30 to 20:00, including some hours on a Saturday when required to meet customer needs

Location - Bedford/Flitwick - candidates need to be located within 30 minutes of this location
