Principal Organic Analyst

Our client is an international life sciences company providing analytical testing services to clients across multiple industries to ensure the safety, authenticity, and accuracy of their products. You will be based in their environmental testing division, who provide bespoke and routine analytical testing throughout the UK and Europe.

As a Principal Organic Analyst, you will support the research and development of a variety of organic analytical techniques as required by the client and business. You will utilise a variety of instruments such as GC & GC-MS in a high-throughput, ISO17025 accredited environment. You will provide advanced expertise in environmental chemistry and support junior analysts in their development.

In addition, you will assist in maintenance programs for the department’s specific instruments and overall support the development and implementation of business improvement ideas.

The ideal candidate will have:

- An in depth understanding of GC & GC-MS methodologies, specifically in the environmental testing sector

- Experience working within a high-throughput environment

- Fully familiar with the requirements of ISO17025 accreditation
