Specialist Finance Analyst - 6 months - Hybrid - Immediate Start

The Opportunity

Yolk Recruitment Public Sector & Not-for-Profit team has partnered with a large health care organisation to recruit a Specialist Finance Analyst, this is an organisation who puts care at the centre of its focus.

What the Specialist Finance Analyst will be will be doingThe ideal Specialist Finance Analyst will be responsible for

  • The production of timely, accurate and reliable financial information in line with financial procedures and timetables through completion of own work and liaison with others.
  • Support Cost and Income Improvement Programme (CIIP) reporting for a defined portfolio of services
  • Supporting the Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) in budget-setting and maintenance of a defined, large portfolio of services, relating to one or more Divisions.
  • Provide a monthly summary of progress against CIIP schemes within own areas of responsibility.
  • To support the Head of Finance in the implementation of Internal and External Audit recommendations

What the successful Specialist Financial Analyst will bring to the teamThis role is suitable for someone who has

* An understanding of the finance in a health care setting

* Worked or working towards an accountancy qualification.

* Has a good knowledge of Excel

* Ability to communicate complex financial issues to non financial personnel
