Your new companyWe're delighted to be exclusively partnered with a group organisation with international entities as they look to bring a Commercial Finance Project Lead into the team on a 6-month contract basis. This role is a full-time position based in North Cambridgeshire and offers hybrid working. Your new roleThis is a project that gives you plenty to get your teeth into! You will be reviewing the financial controls, processes and systems for one of the business units that form part of the group and identifying changes that can be made to improve operational rigour and make efficiency gains. This means that you will be spending the initial time in the contract learning about the business unit and the current processes, before making your recommendations and implementing the changes.What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful in your application, you will need:
- Strong commercial finance leadership skills
- Experience of working in an organisation with international operations
- Willingness to travel to Europe for 1-2 weeks initially to learn about the business unit you're supporting
What you'll get in returnIn return, you will be offered:
- £80,000 - £90,000 salary
- Hybrid working
- Flexible hours
- A guaranteed 6-month contract with the potential to extend, depending on project timescales
