About the Role:Join a growing Business Tax team in Cambridge as our new Senior Corporate Tax Manager! This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who's excited to build and shape the tax practice in the East region, with an emphasis on advisory work and close collaboration with entrepreneurial clients, particularly in Real Estate, Tech, and Hospitality.

The Cambridge office has a strong Private Client presence and is focused on expanding its business services across a broader client base. This role is ideal for an experienced tax professional who's eager to engage with the regional market, roll up their sleeves, and make a genuine impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and grow a diverse portfolio of corporate clients, with an advisory focus on shareholder planning, corporate restructuring, transactions, and succession planning.
  • Drive business development, engaging directly with OMBs, founders, and shareholders to strengthen client relationships and attract new business.
  • Collaborate with the Birmingham office on compliance matters while supporting local business development and advisory projects.
  • Provide mentorship to junior team members, supporting a team-oriented, approachable work culture.

What We're Looking For:

  • CTA qualification or equivalent with significant corporate tax experience, preferably from a mid-market background.
  • Strong technical skills and confidence managing complex advisory work.
  • Demonstrable experience in business development and the energy to expand client relationships in the East region.
  • A team player who's eager to help build the practice, ideally with local market knowledge in Cambridge or East Anglia.
