Are you a formally qualified, experienced finance leader with a background in the Charit sector, looking to work in an international environment?

If yes, then an exciting opportunity has opened for you. We are looking for a Head of Finance to join a global charity based in Cambridgeshire. Reporting to the board, you will be using your leadership, organisational and analytical skills to supervise the finance team in the UK and overseas. Ideally you will have proven experience of leading finance in an international, multi-currency environment.

Responsibilities will include:

• Leading UK and global finance teams.
• Financial planning, budgets and forecasts.
• Management of donor funds and grantees.
• Production of consolidated monthly management accounts.
• Preparation of statutory accounts.
• Implement financial controls and procedures.
• Establish appropriate internal financial controls.
• Manage treasury, cashflow and banking.
• Financial analysis and management information.
• Manage external relationships such as auditors, banks and insurance.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Qualified professional accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA).
• Experience of leading finance teams, ideally internationally.
• Good technical accounting knowledge.
• Excellent IT skills.
• Outstanding problem-solving and communication skills.
