National Account Executive

Cambridgeshire Office x3 days a week

£28-35k + Package DOE

Our client:

  • C£50m turnover business with the No.1 brand in their FMCG category by value
  • Performance is on an upward trajectory currently and they’re expanding their portfolio further into Grocery Retailers, High Street Discounters and DIYs
  • A branded and own label supplier, they have a history founded on quality and tradition. They’re currently in the process of further capital and people investment to meet the future demands of this exciting category.

In the role you will:

  • Report into the Head of National Accounts, and assist with the preparation and delivery of regular customer proposals and presentations
  • Support in maintaining and growing the company’s current account base as well as supporting with account acquisitions
  • Own all customer administration tasks and utilise all internal and external data sources to monitor and report on sales performance
  • Have the opportunity to progress quickly internally into a Junior National Account Manager position based on performance.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be an exceptional communicator, a good relationship builder and results focused
  • You will need to be numerate and analytical as you will be supporting the Head of National Accounts and a variety of excel based projects
  • Ideally (but not a necessity) have experience of working within the food industry or in an FMCG environment

  • Competitive base salary of £28-£35k depending on experience.
  • 3 days in the office - 2 from home (Cambridgeshire)
