Senior Tax Manager St Ives HybridSalary £50,000 - £65,000

Butler Rose are pleased to be representing our client, consistently reliable a firm of accountants that is seeking someone with a strong knowledge and focus in tax with technical tax experience who can oversee the tax team at it's St Ives office in Cambridgeshire.

Role Responsibilities

  • Review corporate tax computations
  • Preparing partnership, trust, and personal tax returns
  • R&D tax claims
  • Assisting with tax planning strategies
  • Working closely with managers and other members of the team to ensure successful completion of jobs.
  • Oversee junior members of the tax team including assisting with development, reviewing work and providing feedback
  • Liaising with your portfolio of clients directly to resolve queries.
  • Work alongside Partners and senior management on matters including inheritance tax, trusts, Capital Gains Tax advice and CGT on UK property returns
  • Lead compliance and financial planning processes and liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients

Personal Requirements

  • CTA or ACA qualified, part qualified or equivalent, with at least 3 years' experience of corporate tax
  • Excellent communication skills and sound attention to detail
  • Strong leadership skills
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Good time management skills in order to ensure budgets and deadlines are met
