Role Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of corporate and business tax clients
  • Oversee the production of Corporation Tax Returns, computations, and related advice
  • Provide remuneration planning and profit extraction strategies for clients
  • Advise on tax issues surrounding business acquisitions and disposals, including Business Asset Disposal Relief, in collaboration with the Corporate Finance team on M&A transactions
  • Lead corporate group restructuring projects and advise on Capital Allowances
  • Manage R&D tax credits, Patent Box, and Land Remediation Relief claims
  • Handle cross-border tax issues such as Transfer Pricing and large company compliance
  • Provide guidance on Employment Related Securities, employee share schemes, and Loan Relationships
  • Oversee tax due diligence and advise on EIS/SEIS
  • Mentor and develop junior staff in both compliance and advisory roles
  • Participate in business development activities to expand the firm’s client base

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • ACA or ACCA part-qualified or studying, with significant experience in UK practice
  • Extensive corporate and business tax experience within a professional services environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage client relationships and drive business development
  • ICT proficiency (Excel, Word), with Alphatax and CCH software experience being advantageous
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel within East Anglia
