7.5 Tonne Driver

Location: Huntingdon
£17 to £19 per hour
Monday to Friday: 06:00 starts

Interaction are hiring for multiple drivers to help our client.

If you are an experienced 7.5 tonne driver, or a HGV Driver looking for secure work currently, this role could be of interest to you.

The role will not just be spent driving. You will effectively be the face of the business, and there will be both customer service, physical work and production.

Working in a team of two, you will deliver furniture, bed frames and mattresses to customers homes. In some cases there will be requirements to assemble the products.

The role:

• Deliver the customer orders to the room of their choice, as part of a team of 2.
• Engage with customers in a friendly manner.
• Use the scanners and complete paperwork to ensure that all orders are delivered correctly.
• Complete the deliveries on time.
• When required, be part of the product assembly. Training will be provided for this.

About you:

• You must have a clean Cat C1 driving licence, and a valid CPC card
• Experience driving 7.5 tonne vehicles
• Understanding of a digital tachograph
• Stong communicator
• Ability to do some heavy lifting and manoeuvering.
