Job Description: Electrical Craftsperson

Location: Cambridgeshire

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain services including electrical, mechanical distribution systems, BMS and            automation systems, nurse call, and fire alarm systems
  • Conduct complex fault diagnosis and rectification across the hospital and associated   buildings
  • Support Management and Technical teams to ensure services meet contract KPIs
  • Follow management systems and work order procedures to meet contractual KPIs
  • Liaise with contractors, issue Permits to Work, and handle necessary paperwork
  • Advise and communicate with Statutory Inspectors, contractors on hospital systems     and equipment, ensuring compliance with Trust safety standards and procedures
  • Maintain up-to-date skills and knowledge, keeping aware of patient-led service issues
  • Effectively liaise with hospital departments

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience as a multi-skilled mechanical or electrical craftsperson/engineer
  • Proficient in fault-finding on complex electrical and mechanical systems
  • IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications
