Independent Reviewing Officer, £42ph, CambridgeshirePertemps are recruiting for an experienced Independent Reviewing Officer to join Cambridgeshire County Council’s children’s services. Main responsibilities:

Chairing statutory Child in Care Reviews in person
Ongoing monitoring of progress of children’s care plans / pathway plans
Identifying areas of drift and delay in permanence for children, and escalating as per CCC’s Escalation Policy
Visiting children outside of Reviews
Travel to children at their care placements, 50% of whom reside outside of Cambridgeshire
