Simon Acres Recruitment are seeking an Internal Salesperson for a highly successful independent supplier of construction products based in Cambridgeshire.
No Weekends!!
Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum + Quarterly bonus
Hours: Monday – Friday , 6:30am - 4:00pm (no weekend work required)
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver new business sales and existing account development
- Forge strong working relationships with all key accounts and manage their expectations around product availability and delivery schedules
- Engage with the external sales, warehouse, and credit control teams
- Efficiently deal with telephone and email enquiries and orders
- Ensure all quotations are followed up when necessary
- Handle any customer issues and queries
The preferred candidate would display the following:
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- A proactive approach to sales
- Team player attitude
- Be a confident and self-driven individual
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong customer service
- Previous experience in a Sales-focused role
- IT literacy
- Ability to communicate with a range of customers and colleagues, whilst building and maintaining strong relationships
Knowledge of construction products would be preferable, but not essential.
