Description
- Lead and supervise a small lab team, ensuring efficient workflow
- Work with ICP-MS / ICP-OES equipment
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures
- Oversee the execution of projects, ensuring deadlines are met
- Coordinate with other departments for smooth operations
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Manage resources effectively to meet project objectives
- Provide training and mentorship to team members
- Stay updated with latest industry trends and technologies
Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00 (Flexible start/finish time offered)
Profile
A successful Senior Laboratory Technician/Technical Team Leader with experience working in a testing/manufacturing environment, as well as:
- A recognised qualification in a Science (E.g. HNC/Degree)
- Analytical Chemistry/Environmental Chemistry work experience would be beneficial
- Technical mindset/skillset
- Working knowledge of ICP-MS/ICP-OES would be advantageous
- Strong communication skills - able to communicate to various stakeholders
