Rate: £21 per hour
Position Overview:We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Telehandler Operator for a 4-week project in Diss, Cambridgeshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a telehandler, assisting with groundworks, and supporting civils gangs on-site. This is a great opportunity for a reliable individual who is available to start immediately and has the necessary qualifications and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a telehandler safely and efficiently on a construction site
- Assist with various groundworks tasks as required
- Provide support to civils gangs with general duties
- Ensure the safe handling of materials and equipment
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Report any issues or concerns to the site supervisor
Requirements:
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket
- Previous experience operating a telehandler on construction sites
- Ability to assist with groundworks and civil engineering tasks
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Reliable and punctual
