Machine Operative

Staffline is recruiting for Machine Operatives to work at our client's leading grape and citrus fruit production and distribution centre in Alconbury.

Pay Rates
Training Period:
- Day shift: £11.44 per hour (Overtime after 48 hours: £14.30 per hour)
- Night shift: £11.74 per hour (Overtime after 48 hours: £14.68 per hour)
Post-Training:
- Day shift: £12.45 per hour (Overtime after 48 hours: £15.56 per hour)
- Night shift: £15.05 per hour (Overtime after 48 hours: £18.81 per hour)

Shift Patterns
- Day Shift: 07:00 - 19:30 (4 days on, 4 days off)
- Night Shift: 19:00 - 07:30 (Monday to Thursday, potentially moving to 4 on, 4 off)

Flexibility will be required to meet the demands of the business.

Transport is provided from Peterborough at 4 different locations for £8 per day, covering both to and from the site.

Your Time at Work
As a Machine Operative, your duties will include:

- Maintaining and monitoring machinery to ensure proper function.
- Understanding how the machinery operates.
- Observing and following company safety rules and regulations.
- Accurately completing all required paperwork.
- Monitoring machinery to identify any issues.

Our ideal Machine Operative will:
- Have excellent attention to detail.
- Possess the ability to work and communicate well with others.
- Be willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
